Grass Fed Beef Bolognese Recipe

Delicious Bolognese Sauce Recipe with Gut-Loving Grass-fed Beef Bone Broth

Here's our recipe for a delicious bolognese using our grass-fed beef bone broth concentrate for added gut and joint-loving nutrition:

Ingredients:
- 450 grams (1 pound) grass-fed ground/minced beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 carrots, finely chopped
- 2 stalks celery, finely chopped
- 1 can (796 ml or 28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp (10g) Beef Bone Broth Concentrate mixed with 250 ml (1 cup) hot water or 250 ml (1 cup) ready-made (no judgement!) beef bone broth
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) tomato paste
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)

Method:

1. In a large skillet or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
2. Add the ground beef to the skillet, and cook until browned, breaking up any large clumps with a wooden spoon or spatula.
3. Add the carrots and celery to the skillet, and cook for another 5 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
4. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, grass-fed beef bone broth, tomato paste, oregano, and basil. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Season the bolognese with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Serve the bolognese over cooked pasta or zucchini noodles, and garnish with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.

Note: If the bolognese is too thick, you can thin it out with additional beef bone broth or water. If it's too thin, let it simmer with the lid off for a bit longer to thicken.
